In Jace’s memory, Jesse, Jessica, and Jaden founded the Jace Lee Memorial in 2024. Jace lit up when he performed and was a natural at all of the various percussion instruments he tried. He even got the opportunity to be the solo drummer for a Halo piece with the High School orchestra! Jace grew up in band, and his teacher, Ms. Barbara Hoppe, was a role model in working hard, striving for the best, respecting your peers, and having fun. We hope that through Jace’s Scholarship, we can not only allow Jace’s memory to live on, but to show our enduring gratitude for the impact band has made on our lives and the lives of others.

Our mission:

To meaningfully impact the band program and instrument ensembles of the Pine Island schools, located in Pine Island, Minnesota; and

To support current and graduating students of Pine Island schools, located in Pine Island, Minnesota, to pursue educational and professional training opportunities.
